Judge Edwin Cameron
South African Constitutional Court Judge
‘This wise, practically-grounded book offers the authors' rich understanding of theory and experience of adolescent behaviour to parents and carers managing relationships with young people. Their wisdom shines through case studies, discussions, practical questions and comments that will prove a boon to every parent and carer.’
Edwin Cameron was appointed a Justice of the Constitutional Court, South Africa's highest court, in December 2008. He was a practising human rights lawyer when President Mandela appointed him as a judge in 1994. He chaired the Wits University Council for over ten years from 1998-2008 and has been involved in AIDS policy formulation since the 1980s. He is the author of the prize-winning memoir Witness to AIDS, and blames the formidable headwinds of 2009 for the dismal time he recorded in completing his fourth Cape Cycle Tour (109km).
