For Adolescents“DEVELOPING THE RIGHT TO BE MORE”A Workshop for Adolescents Adolescents exist in an emotionally fraught world and this is hardly helped by the fragmented society they find around them. As parents and adults it is our duty to mitigate the onslaught of the 21st century so that they can flourish as adolescents and develop into thriving, contributing and effective adults into an age that while daunting can be understood for the exciting opportunities it offers. Business people rarely stop to question the value of a strategy session or a motivational course. They run their businesses with drive and precision – do we afford our adolescents the same opportunity and thus encourage them to be thinking, thriving, contributing members of society? In the adolescent workshops Dr Helen Dooley and Meg Fargher seek to help adolescents move towards an understanding of who they are and how they can be effective in the world. After the workshops there will be coaching sessions which parents can access for adolescents on an ad hoc basis or in designated group coaching sessions that will build on the base skills taught. SEMINAR FEE: R750.00 per person, minimum of 10 delegates per seminar. (Material is aimed at students in Grades 10, 11 and 12) KEY OBJECTIVES:
